Anya is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Chemistry.

She is currently working on the Ncoa7 project that studies the impacts of ischemic stroke on lysosomes and glial cell populations within the brain. She assists with image processing and data analysis.

Outside of the lab, Anya is a member of the American Women's Medical Association and is pursuing a certificate in Asian Studies. She also enjoys reading, running, and learning languages. She plans to attend medical school after graduating, aiming to become a neurosurgeon.
