Molly Reid
Molly is a master's student through Pitt's Biomedical Master’s Program. She is interested in the intertwining of neurodegeneration and its medical implications throughout the body. Currently she works on the TBI project, focusing on the repetitive TBI effects on neuronal differentiation as well as potential mediation of effects via the NHE1 protein. Outside of the lab she loves fitness-related activities like lifting, Pilates, and walking. She is also into cooking/baking! Molly is hopeful to pursue a medical degree in the future, looking to specialize in some form of orthopedics or emergency medicine.
